Maximum Flux Capacity
Sunday’s Peaceful Reflections
Sliding into Sunday and getting ready to close out another spin around the sun in a few days.
Much to my dismay it is the time of year where my overthinking mind amps itself up another level or two. Moreover, if you really know me, you are aware this means I am processing at maximum flux capacity.
Yep, I said maximum flux capacity. Pandemic aside, I have had an oceanic cargo liner sized space ship of items to navigate this particular revolution around the hot ball of fire. And yet in all the chaos and hurt, there are many silver linings, one to include reuniting with a song by Mercy Me.
The repeat button in my head has been stuck for weeks and so today let’s consider these words from their song: Dear Younger Me
Dear younger me
I cannot decide
Do I give some speech about how to get the most out of your life
Or do I go deep
And try to change
The choices that you'll make cuz they're choices that made me
Even though I love this crazy life
Sometimes I wish it was a smoother ride
Dear younger me, dear younger me
My conclusion? Celebrate you in all your glory! Go with the speech on getting the most of your life. Colossal mistakes and all!
Find your people, cherish your people and love your people!
