Time is a Commodity

Fabulous Frigid Friday

Oh my it is cold outside and I am looking forward to a weekend of blankets, books and soups!

The weather induced relaxation time is appreciated. For many it gives us a period in the weekend we might not give ourselves. Something says we can all agree time is a very precious commodity.

Public Safety Family - here it is - those seconds that count!

Yes I said it, seconds count and I ask you ponder these facts:

* 1 calendar year

* 365 days

* 24 hours in a day

* 60 min to an hour

* 60 seconds to a minute

Now let’s take it to the next level:

* 31,536,000 seconds in a year

* 10,512,000 average seconds of potential sleep

* 5,760,000 average seconds of work

* 21,015,000 average seconds available after sleep

* 15,255,000 average seconds available after sleep and work

This means sleep and work consume 48% of any given individual’s time; and leaves only 52% for EVERYTHING else...in seconds.

If a person is willing to spend any of the precious 52% on you, please be gracious. Anything less than gracious is simply rude and disrespectful.

Conversely, if you encounter the less than gracious person please close the door, lock it and never look back. You deserve better.

Find your people, cherish your people and love your people!

Spread love this Valentine’s Day Weekend!
